Promoting the spirit and enjoyment of Amateur Radio since 1962, the members of the Kentucky Colonels Amateur Radio Club welcome you to our official web site!

The Kentucky Colonels Amateur Radio Club was organized in 1962 and is a nonprofit, noncommercial association organized to promote of amateur radio to the community, to advance the radio art and public welfare, and to promote fraternalism with a high standard of conduct between members.

We meet the second Tuesday evening each month at 7 pm at Note: new location: the Bowing Green Fire Department Central Administration Building at 701 East 7th.  This is the building next to the fire station with parking on the Chestnut Street side of the building. Social time begins at 6:30 pm. Our meetings typically combine an informal social event with informative presentations relating to all facets of Amateur (Ham) Radio. You are invited.

Area hams pride themselves on technical achievement, providing emergency assistance and communications to the community, "working" distant "DX" short wave stations, as well as enjoying friendly conversation.
